Fitment

This overlay is cut specifically for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX and 2015-2021 Subaru WRX STI. It does not fit the 2022 or newer WRX, which uses a different hood scoop shape. If you have a 2022+ WRX, please check our other listings for your generation.

Installation

Clean the surface of the hood scoop before starting. A wet install is highly recommended - apply StickerFab Installation Fluid to the back of the vinyl to allow repositioning. Start at the back of the scoop, center the overlay, and work forward pressing out liquid with your fingers (not a squeegee). Use a heat gun or hair dryer at low heat to help the adhesive bond, especially on the corners. If anything lifts in the first few hours, use light heat to press it back down.

For the 3D Carbon material - do not apply wax. Clean with normal soap and water only.

Does this fit both WRX and WRX STI?
Yes - this overlay fits all 2015-2021 Subaru WRX and WRX STI trims.

What is the difference between 3D Carbon and Gloss/Matte?
3D Carbon has a textured dimensional surface that mimics carbon fiber weave. Gloss and Matte are flat vinyl finishes.

Is installation permanent?
No - peel-and-stick with 3M adhesive, removable without damaging the hood paint.

Does this fit the 2022+ WRX?
No - this is specifically cut for the 2015-2021 generation hood scoop. The 2022+ WRX has a different hood scoop shape.
