KC HiLITES SlimLite 6" LED Cover Solid Color Vinyl Overlays

Custom-printed vinyl that turns a plain black KC SlimLite 6" cover into a design that matches your rig.

KC makes the SlimLite cover in three sizes, and each overlay is cut for one size only. Match the part number printed on your KC cover (or your light's size) to the row below, then pick solid or topo. A 6" overlay will not fit an 8" cover, and a 4" overlay will not fit a 6" cover.

KC publishes a PDF for making custom light covers, but not everyone has the time or the equipment to make them. We print and cut the overlays for you — solid colors, outlines, camo, gradients and carbon fiber look — so your KC SlimLite 6" lights match your bumper, your pillar, or your whole build.

Install: Wet Method

We recommend a wet install. This video shows a similar light-cover overlay install, and the same steps apply to your 6" KC SlimLite cover.

Clean the cover with a wax-free quick detailer and microfiber.
Spray the cover and the sticky side of the overlay with application fluid (or soapy water).
Float the overlay into position and align it.
Squeegee out the fluid and bubbles from the center out.
Use heat and your fingers to settle the curved areas.

Installation Tips

Ideal install temperature is 75-85°F. If it is hot out, install in the shade; if it is cool, warm the cover and overlay slightly. Clean the cover, spray both surfaces with StickerFab Application Fluid or soapy water (1 drop of dish soap per cup of water), align, then squeegee out the fluid.

Helpful tools: felt tip squeegee, heat gun or hairdryer, and microfiber. Or grab the 3-item install kit (microfiber, installation fluid, squeegee).

FAQ

Which size do I need? Match the size of your KC SlimLite light: 4" (cover part #5213), 6" (part #5109) or 8" (part #5206). Use the size table at the top of this page to jump to the right listing.	Is the KC cover included? No. These are vinyl overlays only. You need the KC cover for your light, sold separately.
What is the difference between solid and topo? Solid overlays are one flat design (color, outline, camo or carbon fiber look). Topo overlays add contour lines behind the KC logo. Both are cut for the same 6" cover.	Can I get a color that is not listed? Often, yes. Send us a note through the contact form with the color you have in mind.
How do I install them? Use the wet method shown in the video above: clean, spray with application fluid, align, squeegee, then heat the curved areas.	Do the photos show my exact size? Not always. Apart from the main image, some photos come from similar models or other SlimLite sizes. The overlay you receive is cut for the 6" cover (KC part #5109).
Will this work on other KC lights? These are cut specifically for the KC SlimLite 6" cover. Other KC lines such as Flex Era or Gravity use different covers.	Where is it made? StickerFab prints and cuts every overlay in the USA.
